Textile Standards & Legislation was first published in 2008 and is an easy-to-use on-line, fully searchable web-based resource, which now details over 70 textile sustainability labels, regulations and other environmental and social standards.
This easy to use web tool includes simple explanations about each standard works and how they fit into the textile value chain from raw material sourcing right up to consumer level regulations. It provides users with a hugely valuable resource that is immediately updated on a continuous basis when standards and criteria are changed by their operators.
It also provides URL links to full documentation and standard criteria for each standard or label entry so that users can delve deeper into the mechanics of each individual label.
Much of the information is also taken from the seventh edition of the 96 page printed guidebook, which was published in April 2020, which was published in a bid to cut through the confusion surrounding environmental and social compliance in the global textile industry.
If you also want to receive our bi-annual printed handbook of Textile Standards & Legislation please follow this link to upgrade to Textile Standards & Legislation PLUS.
Readers get all the benefits of the above, PLUS the 96 page printed reference guide that can be easily shared with colleagues or friends or to read in your own time away from your desk.
